Where We’ll Stay

We’ll stay at a beautiful, family-owned alpine resort surrounded by forests and breathtaking mountain views. I’ve hosted five retreats here, and it’s one of my favourite hotels — and one of my guests’ favourites too! ❤️ The local family behind it is incredibly warm and welcoming, making every stay feel special.

Enjoy gorgeous luxury suites with private balconies and, in some rooms, beautiful bathtubs, plus a spectacular 1,200 m² spa with heated pools, an infinity pool, hot tubs, saunas and wellness rituals.

Worried about walking between buildings in the snow? The resort has underground passages connecting the different areas, so you can reach breakfast and yoga without stepping outside into the cold!

Add delicious regional cuisine, exceptional Italian wines, local cider and cosy evenings with hot chocolate or vin brûlé by the fire — the perfect alpine escape. ❄️🍷

FAQ – Yoga, Spa & Ski Retreat in the Italian Alps

1. Can I join the winter retreat alone?

Absolutely! Most guests join our yoga and ski retreats on their own. This is one of the best parts of the experience: you arrive independently and leave with new friends, shared memories and perhaps plans for your next adventure together.

The retreat is designed to bring people together through skiing, yoga, spa experiences, mountain adventures, delicious food and relaxed evenings. Whether you come alone or with a friend, you will be warmly welcomed.

2. Do I have to ski during the retreat?

Not at all! This is your winter holiday, and you can enjoy it in whichever way feels right for you.

You can spend your days skiing or snowboarding, join a snowshoe hike, take the cable car up to the mountains for lunch and breathtaking views, or enjoy the lively après-ski atmosphere. If you prefer a slower pace, you can stay at the hotel, relax in the spectacular spa, swim in the warm pools and enjoy the mountain scenery.

You are free to mix and match activities throughout the retreat. You don't have to ski to be part of the experience!

3. Is this a yoga retreat or a ski holiday?

It's the best of both worlds: a yoga, spa and ski retreat in the Italian Alps, combining outdoor adventure with relaxation, movement and wellness.

You can make skiing and mountain activities a major part of your holiday while enjoying yoga, meditation, different movement practices, sauna ceremonies, spa facilities and wonderful Italian food.

Whether you are looking for an active ski holiday, a relaxing winter escape or a combination of both, you can create your own balance.

4. Is the retreat suitable for beginner skiers and snowboarders?

Yes! Beginners are welcome. If you have never skied or snowboarded before, or you would simply like to improve your skills, you can arrange a private lesson or join a group lesson, subject to availability.

You don't need to be an experienced skier to join us. The aim is to enjoy the mountains, try new things and have fun at your own pace.

5. Are ski passes, ski equipment and ski lessons included in the retreat price?

Ski passes, ski and snowboard equipment rental, and ski or snowboard lessons are not included in the retreat price. These can be arranged separately, and I'll have good prices for our group.

6. Is this winter retreat suitable for complete yoga beginners?

Of course! All levels are welcome, including people who have never practised yoga before.

We'll explore different styles of yoga, meditation and movement, along with experiences such as Face Yoga, sound healing and Human Design. The idea is to discover different approaches, reconnect with yourself and find the practices you enjoy most.

You don't need to be flexible, experienced or particularly spiritual. Just come with an open mind and enjoy the experience.

7. Are men welcome at the yoga and ski retreat?

Absolutely! Men are more than welcome. This retreat is open to everyone who enjoys some combination of skiing, wellness, movement, nature, good food and meeting interesting people.

8. What is an Aufguss sauna ceremony?

An Aufguss is a traditional sauna ritual that transforms an ordinary sauna session into a multisensory experience.

A trained sauna master pours water infused with essential oils over the hot sauna stones, creating aromatic steam. Using a towel, they skillfully circulate the hot air around the sauna, often moving in rhythm with music and creating an immersive atmosphere of heat, fragrance and relaxation.

During our winter retreat, we'll enjoy several different Aufguss ceremonies, held in different saunas, with a variety of aromas, music and techniques. There will also be ceremonies in the Turkish steam bath and other wellness surprises throughout our stay.

After each ceremony, you'll have the opportunity to cool down, enjoy a cup of tea, breathe in the fresh mountain air or try an ice bath if you feel comfortable doing so.

These special sauna experiences will be part of our winter retreat throughout the stay, giving you the chance to discover different rituals and enjoy something beyond a traditional spa holiday. All heat and cold experiences are optional.

9. Is the guided snowshoe hike included in the retreat price?

The guided snowshoe hike is an optional extra costing €20 per person, including the guide and lunch at a traditional mountain hut, known in Italy as a baita.

We'll put on special snowshoes called ciaspole in Italian, which make it easier to walk across snowy terrain. It's a fun and unusual way to explore the winter landscape, enjoy the silence of the mountains and experience the snow beyond the ski slopes.

Along the way, we'll stop at a mountain hut where lunch will be prepared especially for our group. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience the local mountain culture, enjoy traditional food and share an adventure with your fellow retreat guests.

No previous snowshoeing experience is required, but the hike does involve walking in winter conditions.

10. What spa facilities are included in the winter retreat?

Enjoy full access to the spa facilities, the perfect way to unwind after a day of skiing or exploring the mountains:

  • Indoor heated pool and outdoor heated infinity pool with mountain views

  • Outdoor hot tubs and jacuzzi

  • Herbal saunas and daily Aufguss ceremonies with essential oils, music and sensory rituals
